Single people are becoming an ever larger proportion of the population and this ever growing group of singles are demanding a louder voice in society.

For a long time it has been a stigma to be a single man or single woman and companies have benefited by charging more money for there services to single people. This is most evident in the holiday industry where single people have constantly been penalized for single holidays. Hotel rooms and other holidays often incur an additional charge for being single and only recently have companies started to recognise that this situation is unfair. However, change is slow and the situation is still largely that local singles are penalized for their status.

Here we are attempting to put together resources and businesses that are friendly to single men and women or who provide services and goods that we think will appeal to single people.

At least being single means that you can look good!

We'll also be adding a page of holiday ideas and resources aimed specifically at the single market. Holidays for single people are hard to find and tend to be expensive unless you can find those holidays that are designed specifically for single people who want to travel alone, or parhaps in the company of other local singles.
