and Finally.....
A loving relationship is a priceless privilege, and surely worth
a bit of effort.
- 'You get no second chance to make a first impression'
- 'It is harder to overcome a bad first impression than to
lose a good one'
- 'If you've got 'it', flaunt it. If you've not quite
got 'it', work on it, or work upon what you have got'
- 'Successful dating is about achieving the balance between
what you feel is ideal and what you know to be reasonably
achievable'
- 'Packaging...Politeness...Perseverance...Perspective'.
- 'Successful Daters invest time and effort on their
image'
- 'Give the chemistry a chance'.
(You need to meet. Lots of repeated phone calls and
letters may be a waste of time if you aren't attracted to one
another when you eventually meet. Conversely, you could say
something which might ruin a very good date by saying too much
too early!)
- 'Eliminate the negative..Latch on to the affirmative..and don't
mess with Mister In-Between'. People are attracted to positive,
cheerful people
- 'Always have the courtesy and kindness to return all initial
communications to yourself. Never promise to call without doing
so!' In my opinion ignoring initial communications is
unforgivable, as are broken promises to return phone calls.
Later on the other person may wish not to continue the contact
into a second letter, phone call or meeting. That is their right.
- 'What you give out you get back. It costs you nothing to
be kind. You haven't got to marry the person'.
